Always this tab looks like empty with few options in my controller. But yesterday then I started new drawing I opened this tab and it displayed my image in line art style and options changed image. I wanted to draw it after already started drawing but this tab empty again and I can't figure out how to make it work. Can anyone help me with it?

The following link is from when the feature first went in, so you'll notice a few changes, but it should get you drawing:

Basically, even though you can see your intended drawing, you still need to hit "CAPTURE", and when you hit "DRAW CAPTURE" the commands get added to your queue.

I've just closed an issue on this, and added a page to the wiki:

Huzzah!

Sandy, to answer the question on the wiki page, trace is working for me (with quirks) and I don't believe I've ever installed WinVDIG. Quicktime was already on my computer, so I can't speak to that aspect.

Quirks:
If I launch the controller, SELECT AREA+SET FRAME TO AREA on my default bitmap and then go to TRACE, it does not seem to work (I get no visible line segments). If, however, I go straight to TRACE without adjusting anything, it works. Once a bitmap is traced, I need to quit and relaunch the controller to trace another.

Before going to TRACE, I have done CLEAR IMAGE+LOAD IMAGE FILE and then gone to TRACE and have it work, but most times not. I haven't found the magic set of circumstances yet. Setting the image I want to trace as the default image has been the only 100% working method. I don't *believe* I've seen an instance of selecting an area/frame changing what is traced.

Thanks Sandy for the new wiki page! Now I have reinstalled fresh Windows and I'm sure I haven't any WinVDIG or Quicktime and Trace works now even if I adjusted frame and image size. But before reinstalling Win I had problem just like kongorilla described or it just not worked at all.
